Mirka Sulander (Helsinki, Finland) combines music, text, theatrical and visual elements in her art. She has a background in literature and acting and she graduated in Fine Art (BA, 2016) from Novia University of Applied Sciences. Mirka has won writing competitions and she has exhibited her art, for example, in Detroit, USA, St Petersburg, Russia and Como, Italy. Her attempt is to gain a holistic understanding of human beings connected to their surroundings with all of their senses, imagination and rational thinking.
Mirka will perform at the Friday’s opening.
